Max GXL and Glutathione

Pain and discomfort seem to be common complaints among young and old these days. Athletic activity and the very active lifestyles of the 20 and 30 something generations have led to more soreness, stiffness and injury related pain in younger people, while a generation of Baby Boomers are feeling the effects of aging and the aches and pains and illnesses our bodies become more susceptible to as we grow older. No one enjoys being in pain. It limits our ability to work, socialize, and enjoy activities with family and friends.

Our immune systems are constantly being bombarded by chemicals and other foreign substances that are in our food, products we use, and our environment in general.

The major causes for our pain and illness are obesity, aging, environmental factors, and in general too much stress and not enough physical activity. Many of the elements and natural building blocks supplied by the food we eat to help maintain and rebuild muscle and tissue and feed the cells in the body are not as prevalent in the over processed foods we eat. We are well fed but undernourished which can lead to a greater susceptibility to illness and disease. We need to find a way to put back into our bodies the natural elements that we are no longer getting.

You’ve heard how antioxidants can help the body combat the effects of free radicals in the cells and the damage they can cause to your health. Antioxidant products have become commonplace in the health and wellness industry, from healthy chocolate, to exotic berry juices, antioxidant is the new buzz word for improved health.

Did you know, the most powerful antioxidant isn’t in a berry, a fruit, or a drink? It’s actually in your body! It’s called Glutathione or GSH and every cell in your body requires an adequate supply of GSH to function and to stay healthy.
